Ena Plakalo, mr.

(Senior Assistant at the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy)

Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, doctoral student at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo, researching perceptual and cognitive processes in solfeggio. She completed bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Pedagogy (2014) and Conducting (2015) at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo. She obtained her master's degree from the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo, with a focus on the pedagogical principles of the German pedagogue and theorist Max Battke. Employed as a senior assistant specializing in solfeggio at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo (2017 – present). Co-founder of the Solfeggio Teachers Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2019).
